You will arrive at lunch time on Day 1 and check into the lodge. You and your group will head to the fields around mid-afternoon. On day 2, after breakfast, you will hunt in the morning and return to the lodge for lunch. If you bag your limit in the morning, we will help you arrange to play golf or shoot skeet in the afternoon. (U.S. Fish and Wildlife sets bag limits on dove.) Otherwise, you will be back in the fields around mid-afternoon. On day 3, after breakfast you will return to the fields for another morning hunt.

Dove Package 2

If you desire, Sweetwater Creek Ranch will make reservations for you and your group at the Holiday Inn in Sweetwater, Texas. The current rate is $42.00 per night plus taxes (this is for double accommodations). Arrive at the lodge prior to 2:00pm and it's off to the fields for a mid-afternoon hunt. On day 2, you and your group will meet a Sweetwater Creek Ranch guide in the morning for the morning hunt. If you bag your limit in the morning, we will help you arrange to play golf or shoot skeet in the afternoon (U.S. Fish and Wildlife sets bag limits on dove). Otherwise, you will be back in the fields around mid-afternoon. After the hunt your are invited to Texas BBQ at the lodge. On Day 3, you will return to the fields for another morning hunt.

Sweetwater Creek Ranch does offer Half Day Hunts and Full Day Hunts. The morning hunts begin about an hour before sun up and end about noon. The afternoon hunts begin around mid-afternoon and end at sunset.
